Langdon Court is a stunning 16th-century Grade II* listed Jacobean Manor House Hotel in Wembury, South Devon. The house has a rich history from its medieval origins. Once owned by the Crown, it was subsequently inherited by Catherine Parr after the death of King Henry VIII. In the early 20th century, Langdon Court attracted royalty as a place frequented by King Edward VII, who was often a guest of the Cory Family. Langdon Court stands on 10 acres of grounds, including Grade II listed English Renaissance gardens, created by the Calmady Family, who owned Langdon Court until 1875.
It has been a wedding venue for many years - my wife and I were married here!
We were delighted to be asked to assist with its conservation and refurbishment as a boutique manor house hotel, Langdon, opened in the summer of 2023.
