Liverpool Cruise Terminal

L1   |   A new Cruise Liner Terminal in the context of Grade I listed buildings for the historic port of Liverpool.

Liverpool's high-quality waterfront remains special due to its rich historical and cultural heritage. The site, in front of the Three Graces—comprising the Liver Building, the Port of Liverpool Building, and the Cunard Building—is a testament to Liverpool's history as a major global port during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Despite losing its UNESCO World Heritage status, the site continues to embody Liverpool's maritime legacy and its role in global trade, migration, and cultural exchange.

Designing in this context is subject to planning policy that is complex, nuanced, contradictory and requires interpretation. BluePrint provides historic building consultancy to optimise the architectural design for the incredible site to secure planning and listed building consent.
